Kingi Tuheitia Visit & 50th Commemoration of Takipu and Mangatu

MAORI King, Kingi Tuheitia attended the 50-year commemoration of Takipu and Mangatu Marae in Easter. It will be his first official visit to Te Tairawhiti.

Freshwater Policy Statement:

Te Mana o Taiao o Mahaki has developed a draft Te Aitanga a Mahaki Freshwater Policy Statement with the aim to articulate freshwater management outcomes and how these will be achieved.   The draft is available for public consultation.  If you would like to a copy then click here.
